Happy New Year! Losar Tashi Deleg!

I wanted to take a brief moment this morning and through my well wishes out into the universe.
Today is a new Lunar Year, the Tibetan Royal Year 2145, Year of the Earth Dog.

I looked back to my emails from a year ago and I wrote several friends to wish them well. I intend the same for today.
My wife and I will be celebrating the holiday twice with Sangha members today. So exciting. We are very fortunate for the moments that we have and that we get to share.

I was thinking a lot about Neuroplasticity this morning, so I think my aspiration for the year is to be more aware of the way I talk, particularly about myself (and maybe, thus, a little less; a little more listening). :)

I also want to share a quote from Mr. Robot (Ssn. 1: Ep. 5) that really made me pause: "Every day we change the world."
I think I am going to put a banner above the front door of my home with that. It reminds me of a line from Frightened Rabbit's song 'Heads Roll Off' from their breakout album "The Midnight Organ Fight": "While I'm alive, I make tiny changes to Earth".
 - Note: Just looking at their website now they have a tour that kicks off today!  How great for them!  And those fortunate enough to get tickets, because I see that most all shows are SOLD OUT. Good luck, guys!!!

Now I must bid adieu and begin my day in earnest.
